The Search Protocol

Every TSCM Search is approached in a individually specific manner, with protocols and eliminations being a focus point. The equipment and techniques deployed during the TSCM search vary considerably, with advanced technology devices being used to strategically identify all frequencies and signals present whether active, dormant or switched off.

Scrutinising even the innocent frequencies as often covert devices are hidden in these band frequencies to disguise them from detection, once a signal has been identified and cleared as innocent it is eliminated from further scrutiny thus allowing the search team valuable time homing into the sinister often disguised devices of concern.

Every search is methodical and extremely thorough with a multitude of different types of equipment used, along with expert techniques that have been developed through our sweep teams extensive experience in both their backgrounds and current TSCM operative roles.

TSCM Inspection

Some of the Equipment and methods deployed during a TSCM inspection include:

  • Non- Linear junction detectors (NLJD)
  • Forensic lighting systems
  • Near & Far field RF detectors
  • Microphone detectors
  • Handheld RF spectrum analysis
  • Endoscope inspection tools
  • Thermal emissions analysis devices
  • High speed RF spectrum analysis
  • Modern pulsed burst signal technology
  • Frequency hopping detection (cellular, wifi, gps)
  • Cellular frequency detection 2G,3G,4G,5G
  • Bluetooth device analysis
  • Cable analysers
  • Systematical physical inspections

The Search Report

Once our search is completed our clients are provided with a formal report, which outlines;

  • The scope of our works undertaken
  • The equipment and technologies used
  • Logged frequencies and signals detected
  • Our findings
  • Our recommendations and mitigation strategies

Our availability is 24 hours, weekends and evenings often sought after. The preferred option for many of our business clients is attendance after business hours once colleagues and staff members have gone home for the day ,as to avoid gossip or the potential to alert a perpetrator.
